The American Heritage Dictionary states bullion as gold or silver
considered with respect to quantity rather than value. In other words
pure gold or silver. In actuality bullion has to be at least 99.5% pure.
Bullion is made up in the form of bars, ingots, plates, and coins too.
There is little value to bullion other than the gold or silver content.
Bullion is very liquid making it very easy to both buy and sell. You
should invest in bullion if you are looking only to get the most gold or
silver for your dollar.
